How to Find the Right Color for Your Car

When your car’s paint job starts to wear down, you do not have to settle for a dampened aesthetic. You can take your car to a shop to get a fresh coat of paint. However, you and the worker should come to a conclusion what the exact color of your vehicle.

Side Door

In order to see what exact color your car is, you should take a look at the white panel located on the driver’s door. This white panel will be located on the inside of your vehicle toward the bottom.

VIN Number

Your vehicle should also come with a VIN number. This is located on the windshield toward the bottom right-hand corner. Sometimes the VIN number will also come with a color code, but even if your car does not have the code, the VIN number should help an auto worker in determining what color scheme is ideal.

Your Local Dealership

If all else fails, you can contact the dealership where you purchased your car. They should be able to lend some assistance in determining the exact color because sometimes “red” is not always enough of a description.

When you work with a professional auto shop, you should have no problems determining what color your car should be painted. For a custom auto painting in Vista, visit this website.
